Toby Avery is a Chief Digital and Information Officer with a passion to improve health and care. Having a mantra of putting people before technology Toby leverages the Digital opportunity to better serve people.

Having an MSc in Healthcare Leadership and being a graduate of the NHS Digital Academy, Toby is an agent of cultural change who has successfully moved the conversation from a technology centred approach to a people centred approach where collaboration and co-design are at the centre of digital practice.

Toby combines his interests in people, leadership and technology to develop high performing teams that challenge traditional culture and behaviour to deliver safe, sustainable and innovative digital capabilities.
